Big Sky Resort Selects Revolution House Media for Public Relations

Big Sky Resort, located in the snowy southwest corner of Montana, has welcomed back Kate Ketschek and Revolution House Media, signing the company on as its public relations agency. Ketschek managed Big Sky Resort’s marketing initiatives from 1999-2007, before returning to the East Coast.

“It was perfect timing—we were looking for someone to spearhead our national and international communications and knew Kate was moving back to the area. Having a PR partner that already intimately knows the mountain, the Resort and our history, it’s the ideal situation, we couldn’t be happier,” said Big Sky Resort’s Director of Marketing, Lyndsey Owens.

Beach Rentals in North San Diego County

As I posted earlier today at Coastal Orange County Living, we are looking for a condo, apartment or beach house to rent in Del Mar, Del Mar Heights or Solana Beach.  We'd like to start moving in during the last week of January 2016 (depending on my work schedule which should be decided by December 15).

We are on a budget, but definitely have in mind of where we want to live and what types of living situations would work.  We would most like to rent from a private owner or landlord, rather than a huge property management company.

Teton Pass Ski Resort, Montana

Teton Pass Ski Resort is a 400 acre ski resort in the Lewis and Clark National Park in Montana, along the Rocky Mountain front.

Teton Pass is a place where there are rarely any lift lines and your money goes further than at most larger ski resorts.  A full day Adult lift ticket only costs $39!

Getting a job at Teton Pass can also be more challenging than other ski resorts, as they employ only 26 people during the season.

The Summit at Snoqualmie

The Summit at Snoqualmie happens to be my home ski area.  It's about an hour door to slopes from my home in Bellevue, Washington.

2014-15 season was a major disappointment for all of North America, but especially at smaller ski areas like The Summit.

I look for the upcoming 2015-16 season to be a major rebound and I look forward to hitting the slopes of Alpental and Ski Central many, many times this season.

Timberline Lodge, Mount Hood, Oregon

Timberline Lodge Ski Resort is located on Mount Hood in Oregon, and boasts a longer snow season than any other ski resort in North America.  This year, even after a rotten winter snow season, Timberline offered summer skiing on their Palmer Snowfield until August 2nd.  Timberline also boasts a vertical of 3,690 feet - the largest in the US Pacific Northwest.

We have not yet been to Timberline in the winter, but really hope to get an opportunity during the upcoming 2015-16 snow season.

Vail Ski Resort, Vail, Colorado

Vail in Colorado's Rocky Mountains is one of the largest ski resorts on the planet and just one of many great resorts owned and operated by Vail Resorts.
